The Alecto WS5200 is a 6-in-1 Wi-Fi weather station with outdoor sensor and app control, ideal for the professional user. This digital weather station’s six sensors give you immediate and comprehensive insight into the current local weather conditions. Simply link the professional weather station to online weather services such as Weather Underground, Weather Cloud and more. You can add your favourite weather station to these large networks and get additional access to data from any other connected weather stations.

Professional measurements
The wireless outdoor sensor and indoor unit (screen) come with various high-quality sensors that give a complete and reliable picture of the current local weather conditions and indoor comfort.

Based on real-time data and history, the feeling temperature, heat index and dew point are also calculated, as well as a weather forecast for the next 24 hours. This professional weather station is equipped with a rain gauge for recording the amount of precipitation. If desired, you can set a number of alarms for maximum and minimum values in temperature, humidity and precipitation. The weather station has a memory with the lowest and highest measured values.
Weather station with app
The Alecto WS5200 connects you to your own Wi-Fi network. Following this, you can link the weather station to one of the many online weather platforms such as Weather Underground (Wunderground), ECOWITT, Weather Cloud, WOW and WS View plus. The WS5200 allows you to add a weather station to these networks yourself. Next to being able to take your own weather measurements, you also get access to those of others. The data from any connected global weather stations is used for reliable local weather forecasts. For example, Weather Underground alone has more than 250,000 connected weather stations. Due to the internet connection, the date and time are always well-synchronised. Above all, this makes it possible to remain equipped with the latest firmware.
Indoor unit with clear display and display lighting
In addition to the app, the unit comes with a clear 12.5 cm / 4.9 inch display which shows you the measured values and certain historical data clearly. The screen is equipped with display lighting and therefore visible in the dark. Next to weather conditions and forecasts, the Alecto WS5200 also displays the date and time. Use the weather station on your bedside table, a dresser or simply hang it on the wall.
Advanced wireless outdoor unit
The outdoor unit is equipped with most sensors and can be placed outside - preferably in an open environment - where the sensors are not hindered by anything. Do not place the unit next to things like walls, as this can have an effect on wind speed, wind direction and temperature. The outdoor sensor shares the registered data wirelessly with your indoor unit and app that can be used on your smartphone, tablet or computer. The wireless outdoor sensor’s range is 30 meters / 98 feet, although it will be larger in an open field without any obstacles.

Na meerdere pogingen , wifi werkt niet. Kan ook zijn dat de informatie onbegrijpelijk is voor mij.

Weerstation Ws5200 en app
De in handleiding beschreven wsview plus app communiceert niet stabiel met de wifi. Na contact met servicedesk kreeg ik snel reactie en de oplossing, de ECOWITT app. Deze geïnstalleerd en probleem tussen basisstation en app was opgelost. Bedankt!

jammer, miskoop
Wij hebben dit weerstation nu 4 maanden. Het werkte super tot wij glasvezel kregen, dus ook een andere modem. Helaas nu werkt de app niet meer. De wifi wordt niet geaccepteerd. Niet op 2,4 GHZ en ook niet op 5 GHZ. Helaas nu dus rijp voor de sloop. Rommel, jammer!

het weerstation werkt goed. alleen de wifi kan niet geinstaleerd worden.
de 5.2 giga herts verlaagt naar 2.4 lukt nog niet.
kan op de binnen unit geen tijd en dag en jaar instellen.
vind ook de beschrijving niet volledig.
mijn vorige station zonder wifi werkte perfect , kon ook alle gegevens op de pc opslaan gaar met deze ook niet. ik heb spijt van het station. met een goedkopere waarschijnlijk meer plezier gehad.
